Position Summary Acts as a partner with hiring leaders to develop and implement strategies necessary for attracting, accessing, sourcing, and creating a great experience for qualified applicants. This role involves collaborating with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Essential Functions
Consult with department clients to define short-term staffing needs.
Work closely with hiring managers to understand their business needs and keep updated on the active recruitment process.
Assess talent and ask questions that help draw out candidates’ skill sets.
Ensure a positive applicant and hiring manager experience throughout the hiring process, including timely application follow-up and interview status.
Execute recruitment plans for assigned departments and/or key roles by consulting with senior recruiters or direct manager on sourcing strategies.
Attend career fairs and events regularly to help build the brand and identify top talent.
Work closely with state, federal, collegiate, and professional entities to surface qualified candidates.
Represent the organization’s brand, mission, and values with pride, emphasizing employment features and preparing candidates for a great interview experience.
Maintain compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, customer service, account management, recruiting, or consulting.
Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible experience in human resources, sales, or customer service, including at least 6 months in recruitment.
Experience sourcing on external platforms and working in a metric-driven environment.
Familiarity with TA/HR technology and systems.
