What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Serve as a senior-level labor relations consultant addressing medium-risk labor relations needs
Provide consultation to HR Business Partners and leadership teams on complex labor relations matters
Lead contract negotiations and provide expertise on contract interpretation
Conduct investigations related to colleague and labor relations issues
Develop and deliver labor relations education and awareness programs for management
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
5 to 7 years of progressively responsible labor relations experience, including collective bargaining
Specialized knowledge of labor relations, human resources practices, and employment laws
Proven ability to negotiate union contracts and manage grievances and arbitrations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor and Industrial Relations, or a related field
Juris Doctorate or LL.B degree
Prior healthcare experience
Experience with labor relations in a collaborative culture
Familiarity with Office 365 and advanced data analysis skills
