Royal Lane Cabinets is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Builder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in custom cabinetry, a strong understanding of woodworking tools and techniques, and a commitment to producing high‑quality work. This role involves building, assembling, and finishing cabinets according to shop drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists
Measure, cut, and assemble wood components for custom cabinetry
Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, planers, and edge banders
Install hardware including hinges, drawer slides, and handles
Sand, stain, and finish cabinetry to meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship
Assist with on-site installations as needed
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Skills
Experience with CNC machinery or automated cutting systems
Knowledge of various wood species and finishing techniques
Familiarity with cabinet installation practices
Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to custom design challenges
Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet building or woodworking
