Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This is a service-focused role that involves managing a portfolio of construction accounts, supervising account managers, and ensuring exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, construction insurance, and account management, with the ability to mentor junior staff and build lasting relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
Oversee the overall management of a portfolio of construction accounts, with premiums ranging from $100K to $1M+.
Supervise and mentor Account Managers and Junior Account Managers, delegating tasks effectively and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
Handle renewals and remarketing efforts, including analyzing coverage and presenting options to clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to secure the best outcomes for clients.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their professional growth.
Utilize AMS360 software for account management and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in commercial lines account management, with a focus on construction accounts.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction insurance and marketing strategies.
Soft Skills:
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
Approachable and easygoing demeanor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
