A growing public accounting firm in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Associate to join our audit team. This position is ideal for entry-level or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in public accounting and gain hands‑on audit experience across a variety of industries.
Work Location
Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAS
Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation
Perform audit testing of financial statement accounts and internal controls
Obtain and organize client data and supporting schedules
Identify and communicate audit issues to senior team members
Ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with firm standards
Meet assigned deadlines and engagement timelines
Assist with other accounting and audit‑related projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
0–2 years of public accounting or relevant accounting experience
CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA licensure (preferred)
Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
