What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead and manage district revenue forecasting and customer demand analysis
Ensure sales staff meet forecasts and adhere to company guidelines, providing development plans for underperformance
Oversee recruitment, development, and retention of the district sales team while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Monitor and evaluate district sales team performance using company performance management tools
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of activities and common goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 12+ years of sales experience in the Life Science industry
At least 1-3 years of sales management experience in the Life Science industry
Strong understanding of genetics and genomics
Proven ability to engage effectively at a high level and communicate with diverse audiences
Knowledge of the local genomics landscape
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (Master's) may be preferred
Direct work experience typically totaling 12+ years, with 3-6 years in management
Established relationships with key customers and suppliers in the industry
Experience in capital sales
