Position Overview (The Commercial Construction Superintendent is responsible for the on‑site direction, supervision, and coordination of commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Tegrity Construction’s quality standards.) Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Coordination
Oversee daily onsite construction activities and serve as the primary contact for all field operations.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project team members to maintain smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules.
Lead onsite meetings, including daily huddles, safety briefings, and weekly progress reviews.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce Tegrity Construction safety policies and maintain a clean, well‑organized job site.

Address and correct unsafe work practices immediately.
Quality Assurance
Monitor workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
Conduct routine inspections and proactively identify quality issues before they impact the project.
Scheduling & Documentation
Maintain and update the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
Manage daily reports, manpower logs, delivery logs, and other field documentation.
Participate in project planning, look‑ahead schedules, and coordination meetings.
Problem‑Solving & Communication
Anticipate and mitigate onsite issues that could impact safety, schedule, or budget.
Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Represent Tegrity Construction in a professional and solution‑oriented manner.
Qualifications Required
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Proven track record delivering projects such as ground‑up buildings, retail, office, healthcare, education, or tilt‑wallৰ্ও.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, sequencing, and building systems.
Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
Proficiency with software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or equivalent tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Must be able to work full‑time on Houston‑area job sites.
Preferred
OSHA 30 certification.
Experience in fast‑track or multi‑phase build‑outs.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Familiarity with the local subcontractor market.
