Business Development Representative
The business development representative creates and fosters relationships with a focus on expanding the business name, brand, and customer base. This individual must have a dynamic personality and exemplify high relationship development skills. It is important that this individual achieves relationship development and networking in a strategic and focused manner to develop Newman Restoration and Cleaning and take it to the next level. This position will start out as part-time, with an opportunity for full-time position depending on performance. Responsibilities/Tasks: Strategically identify and participate in organizations, groups, and events that will develop the business name, brand, and customer base. Work closely with the marketing associate to create RFPs, informational packets, and handouts that highlight services to increase, expand, and retain the customer base. Research diverse markets and their service needs for potential customers. Work with business owners and sales representatives to pursue new client relationships. Assist with marketing, public relations, special community events, and social media platforms. Pursue contract customer base that has potential for ongoing service needs. Attend potential and current contract customer meetings to present marketing materials, answer questions, and foster retention. Weekly coaching calls with immediate supervisor, as well as weekly metric review. Qualifications: High School Diploma Ability to quickly integrate into the community on behalf of the business. Able to utilize social media platforms to develop and expand business name and services. Strong strategic networking and relationship skills are important. Demonstrate competence, knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs. Strong attention to detail, proactive, and self-motivated. Effective time management skills, able to set priorities, and work on multiple projects at one time. Detailed, organized, and able to work independently as well as with a team. Professional written and oral communication skills.
