SUMMARY The Brentwood Baptist Church, Communications Account Manager, is responsible to the church, under the direction of the Promotions Director, for managing the project-related functions of the Communications Department relating to their assigned campus(es) or ministries. Primary responsibility lies in ministry “accounts” project management for projects/promotional initiatives. In addition, they administrate project management for major messages and message channels of campuses.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:
Oversee project management specifically to do one or more of the following:
Assist the Promotions Director, Digital Strategy Director, and Communications Director in determining the actual scope of the project and final deliverables.
Prepare project budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements.
Work out broad cost estimates if necessary.
Prompt for and collect critical details (i.e., point person, approver, critical deadlines)
Manage expectations of deliverables based on the current climate (i.e., resources, existing messages, ministry responsibilities, etc.)
Maintain accurate project management records. This includes but is not limited to schedules, emails, ministry invoicing, quotes, project management software, and prototypes.
When appropriate, offer other team-preferred alternatives that more closely meet Communications standards as determined by team leadership.
Strategically break projects into manageable pieces, determine assignments to be made to the production team, and follow the project through to completion.
Work with the Promotions Director to facilitate appropriate creative meetings between the ministry and the Communications team.
Work with the Communications Assistant to ensure effective management of projects requiring the print shop and outsourced vendors.
Compile and publish weekly campus bulletins and emails as assigned.
Ensure that ministries are kept abreast of project status through regular communication.
Alerting leadership to ministry relationship issues as they arise.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:
Regularly participate in weekly staff meetings at the assigned campus(es) to determine weekly communication priorities and assist in their message management.
Regarding assigned campus(es), support the Communications Director in public relations efforts to align internal and external messages.
Assist the Communications Assistant in print shop-related production as needed.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Promotions Director and Communications Director.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the fields of communications, marketing, and project management
