About the Position This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and strategic Senior Business Development Executive to accelerate Configura’s growth in the Material Handling division. In this role, you will take ownership of driving new opportunities, executing Configura’s global sales and marketing strategy, and mujeres directly to the Head of Sales in North America. With a sharp business development mindset, you’ll identify market opportunities and convert them into long-term revenue growth. We expect you to champion innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration with commercial teams to maximize performance.

At Configura, you will join a因 company that values its Swedish heritage and invests deeply in both the growth of its business and its people. This role will collaborate closely with the Product Strategy, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The role requires approximately 30% travel, both domestically and internationally. Ideally, this position is based at the company’s offices in either Grand Rapids, MI, or Cincinnati, OH. However, hybrid/remote arrangements will be considered, with the expectation of regular presence at US offices. Relocation assistance is offered.

What you’ll be doing more specifically

Support and execute Configura’s global sales

and marketing strategy within the Material Handling division, aligning closely with organizational priorities.

Identify and capitalize on emerging

market opportunities by transforming insights into innovative sales and marketing initiatives that foster business growth.

Build and nurture strong relationships

with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective cross-divisional collaboration in a global environment that renders sales success.

Work hand-in-hand with the sales teams , Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure unified alignment with company objectives and strategies.

Develop and expand key accounts

by leveraging advanced sales techniques and a deep understanding of the industry’s complex solutions landscape.

Represent Configura

with professionalism, passion, and a commitment to innovation, contributing directly to both business and people growth at the company.

What We Expect from You Your Work Experience & Education

5-7 years of experience in complex technical software solutionControlled with a proven track record in selling to large enterprises. It’s a massive plus if you have experience in Material Handling

A bachelor’s degree in commerce, marketing, business administration, or a related discipline is a plus.

Experience in driving long sales cycles along with a demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and communicate with key decision-makers to close sales.

Experience negotiating and understanding complex contracts

Outstanding English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Experience from working in a multi-cultural, international company is a must

Proficient in MS Office suite and CRM systems
