We are a leading manufacturer and supplier in the
Lawn and Garden Products
wholesale industry, seeking one or two dynamic
Sales Representatives
to join our team in Dunellen. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented, driven individuals to manage and grow significant existing retail accounts while prospecting for new business. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to execute the entire sales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth:
Manage and nurture a portfolio of
major existing wholesale accounts
to ensure maximum retention and continuous revenue growth.
Sales Cycle Execution:
Expertly navigate the complete sales cycle, including scouting potential retail partners, meticulous preparation, compelling presentation, and diligent follow-up.
Product Expertise:
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our lawn and garden product lines to effectively communicate features, benefits, and value propositions to retail buyers.
In-Office Collaboration:
Work five days a week from our Edison office, collaborating closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, logistics) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Strategy:
Track sales metrics, prepare performance reports, and contribute to overall sales strategy development.
Qualifications
Proven experience in
product sales to retail businesses
or wholesale distribution is strongly preferred.
Demonstrable understanding of the full sales process (scouting, preparation, presentation, and follow-up).
Exceptional
detail orientation
and organizational skills.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Possession of a
strong, self-driven work ethic
and commitment to meeting sales goals.
