Position Overview The Mississippi Mayhem Sports Organization is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sponsorship Sales Team to solicit and secure sponsorship packages from local and corporate businesses throughout Central Mississippi. This role is ideal for sales professionals, relationship builders, and community-minded individuals who thrive in performance-based environments.
Sales representatives will market and sell Mississippi Mayhem sponsorship packages, which support professional football, community engagement initiatives, youth development, and economic growth in the region.
All sponsorships are tax-deductible through Magnolia Capital Community Foundation, the official funding arm of the Mississippi Mayhem.
Key Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and engage local and corporate businesses for sponsorship opportunities
Present Mississippi Mayhem sponsorship packages in a professional, compelling manner
Educate potential sponsors on marketing benefits, brand exposure, and community impact
Clearly communicate the tax-deductible benefit of sponsorships through Magnolia Capital Community Foundation
Build long-term relationships with business owners, executives, and marketing decision-makers
Attend networking events, chamber meetings, and community functions as a brand ambassador
Track leads, presentations, and closed deals using provided sales tools or CRM systems
Collaborate with Mississippi Mayhem leadership and marketing teams to customize sponsorship solutions
Meet or exceed monthly and seasonal sales goals

Jersey & Equipment Sponsorships
Digital & Social Media Promotion
Broadcast & Streaming Advertising
Community Events & Youth Program Partnerships
Corporate Hospitality & VIP Experiences
Qualifications Proven sales, business development, or sponsorship experience preferred
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Professional demeanor with strong relationship-building skills
Knowledge of Central Mississippi business landscape is a plus
Passion for sports, community development, and brand marketing
Reliable transportation and ability to conduct in-person meetings
