What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage and develop independent sales representatives to align with the employer's sales process and values
Drive sales growth through relationships with municipalities, utilities, OEMs, engineering firms, and contractors
Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training to clients and sales reps
Identify, qualify, and onboard new sales representatives to expand market presence
Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets while maintaining accurate reporting of opportunities and forecasts
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 5 years in technical B2B sales or sales management, preferably in water, wastewater, instrumentation, pumps, or industrial automation
Proven success in consultative selling and managing independent reps or channel partners
Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with engineers, operators, and executives
Ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision
Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience considered
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with CRM, reporting, and virtual collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
High integrity and strong work ethic with an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to influence and collaborate within a team environmentComfortable with extensive travel (40-80%, depending on region)
Located in CA, preferably the Bay Area
