What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage incoming patient and prescription‑related communication channels, including the main fax server and electronic prescription queue
Prioritize and triage incoming communication based on urgency and relevance for timely processing and response
Create and maintain accurate patient profiles in CPR+, including demographic information and medication history
Process new drug orders from referral sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness of prescription information
Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and patients regarding prescriptions and patient profiles
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or GED or licensed/registered pharmacy technician or previous experience in Pharmacy
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience
Knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, Roman numerals, and brand/generic names of medication
Basic math and analytical skills
Intermediate typing and keyboard skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare‑related setting
Familiarity with CPR+ or similar pharmacy management systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of privacy regulations related to patient information
