The
Benefits Specialist
is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company’s health, welfare, and leave of absence programs for a assigned region. This role supports employees by assisting with enrollment, answering benefits-related questions, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of benefit transactions. The Benefits Specialist partners internal stakeholders to deliver positive employee experience, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and support the organization’s overall benefits strategy.

Responsibilities Essential Duties: • Administer health and welfare benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.• Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes due to qualifying life events, and claims resolution.• Reconcile weekly error reports and resolve discrepancies.• Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, state-specific leaves, and disability, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.• Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefit records in HR systems.• Respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing education and guidance on available benefit options.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: • Knowledge of health and welfare benefits, FMLA,ADA and state leave requirements.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with benefits enrollment systems preferred.
Qualifications Education: • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience :• 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function.
