Sr. Transaction Manager
Job Description Summary As a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Portfolio Advisory Group, the Sr. Transaction Manager will be dedicated to one or more of Cushman & Wakefield’s most dynamic client accounts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with peers and the account team to support a client's strategic real estate vision. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day transaction management oversight for a complex real estate portfolio, including diligent oversight from initiation through execution, program management of stakeholder inputs, and supervision of transaction staff. The Sr. Transaction Manager shall also be accountable for client budgeting, internal revenue management, and adherence to account and transaction‑level KPIs, embodying our team philosophy “Client First, Insight Always, Execution Excellence.”
Essential Functions and Responsibilities General
Implement portfolio plans aligned with client real‑estate goals and objectives.
Optimize and integrate portfolio with clients’ workplace strategy.
Collaborate with brokerage professionals to negotiate business terms for leases, sales, build‑to‑suit, subleases, and purchases.
Work with a broad range of internal contributors and client stakeholders.
Manage key documentation flow and client communications.
Partner with clients’ operational groups to identify real‑estate needs.
Prepare, review, and interpret financial analyses/accounting concepts.
Report transaction revenue and ensure accuracy of all reports and client materials.
Present transaction activity to client and C&W management.
Participate in all client/C&W business reviews.
Lead or facilitate client meetings.
Supervise transactional team members and other support staff.
Process Management
Develop and implement standard processes to maximize efficiencies.
Oversee continual improvement of standard forms and procedures.
Create performance metrics for internal benchmarking.
Develop and update account operations manuals/playbooks.
Transaction Management
Oversee transaction service delivery and coordinate transaction teams.
Direct field broker selection and manage negotiations.
Communicate project parameters and collaborate with portfolio administration for data accuracy.
Coordinate legal review of all leased/owned documents.
Ensure financial data accuracy and reporting.
Resolve landlord/tenant disputes.
Coordinate client site visits and market tours.
Ensure compliance with state real‑estate standards.
Manage budgeting, revenue tracking, and client rebate accounts.
Strategic Planning
Lead development of strategic plans and provide real‑estate advice to clients.
Identify occupancy cost‑saving strategies and develop expansion/contraction plans.
Ensure implementation of agreed strategies.
Support business case development and prepare related reports and analyses.
Execute strategies through action plans and report on cost savings and value add.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ real‑estate experience in transaction management or corporate real‑estate.
Experience with high‑level, complex transaction management, including lease negotiations and strategy.
Must hold a state real‑estate salesperson license.
LEED, MCR, CCIM designations are a plus.
Ability to read and understand commercial real‑estate transaction documents (e.g., lease, purchase & sale agreement, sublease, SNDA, estoppel, assignment).
Benefits and Compensation Compensation: $127,500.00 – $150,000.00 (depending on factors such as location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements).
