What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform portfolio quality reviews in Commercial Niches and Programs to ensure compliance and accuracy in policy issuance
Complete executive summaries and reports for underwriting management, including presentations for senior leaders
Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies and recommend training opportunities to enhance performance
Provide guidance to underwriters on processes, procedures, and risk selection
Participate in commercial underwriting/project initiatives as a QA subject matter expert
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Minimum of five (5) years of commercial underwriting experience, or equivalent technical experience in an underwriting role
At least two (2) years of experience as a UW Quality Assurance Associate, or equivalent technical experience in an auditing role
Underwriting experience in Non-Profit Human Services and/or Programs is highly desirable
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Insurance Institute of America (IIA), or other related industry designation is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in Non-Profit Human Services and/or Programs
Additional industry certifications beyond CPCU or IIA
