Contract It Recruiter
This is a contract role (34 months) no benefits for this role offered at this time. Position summary acts as a partner with hiring leaders to develop and implement strategies necessary for attracting, accessing, sourcing, and creating a great experience for qualified applicants. This role involves collaborating with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Essential functions include consulting with department clients to define short-term staffing needs, working closely with hiring managers to understand their business needs and keep updated on the active recruitment process, assessing talent and asking questions that help draw out candidates' skill sets, ensuring a positive applicant and hiring manager experience throughout the hiring process, including timely application follow-up and interview status, executing recruitment plans for assigned departments and/or key roles by consulting with senior recruiters or direct manager on sourcing strategies, attending career fairs and events regularly to help build the brand and identify top talent, working closely with state, federal, collegiate, and professional entities to surface qualified candidates, representing the organization's brand, mission, and values with pride, emphasizing employment features and preparing candidates for a great interview experience, and maintaining compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, customer service, account management, recruiting, or consulting. Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible experience in human resources, sales, or customer service, including at least 6 months in recruitment. Experience sourcing on external platforms and working in a metric-driven environment. Familiarity with ta/hr technology and systems.
