What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Serve as the primary technical authority and decision partner in enterprise sales cycles, overseeing Proof of Value (POV) outcomes
Lead architecture-level discussions with security, email, and identity teams
Conduct technical discovery to identify risks and customer requirements
Perform competitive landscape research to address customer inquiries effectively
Educate sales executives and partners on the employer's products and security posture
What is Required (Qualifications):
5+ years of Sales Engineering experience or relevant industry experience
Proven ability to lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with security and compliance teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in technical presentations
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Enterprise sales environment
Solid technical understanding of SaaS security models and enterprise networking concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with enterprise email security platforms (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast)
Technical background in messaging and internet security principles
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
Knowledge of email authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and their failure modes
Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, or equivalent) for credibility with enterprise buyers
