Senior Database Administrator

Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join a fast-paced, multi-tasking, collaborative infrastructure team supporting both legacy and cloud-based database environments. This role requires deep RDBMS experience (SQL Server, Oracle, AWS RDS, DMS) and the ability to work independently across diverse systems as well as in collaboration with other teams. You will play a critical role in performance tuning, data replication, and ensuring stability of production systems while supporting broader modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities Relational Database Management

Administer and support SQL Server, AWS RDS (MySQL, Postgres), DMS, and Oracle

Perform query optimization, indexing, blocking resolution, and performance tuning

Manage transactional replication, backups, log file integrity, and tablespace health

Troubleshoot database performance issues and proactively take corrective actions

Deploy and manage AWS services such as RDS, DMS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB

Support cloud DNS setup, security integration, and access control configurations

Collaborate across DevOps, data engineering, and application teams to align infrastructure with delivery goals

Support & Maintenance

Provide on-call and after-hours support as required

Participate in incident response and ongoing performance monitoring

Maintain high availability and resilience of all critical data systems

Required Qualifications

5+ years of DBA experience across SQL Server, Oracle, AWS

Strong knowledge of indexing strategies, schema design, and replication

Experience with AWS RDS, DMS, and general cloud data architecture

Analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Familiarity with modern SDLC and CI/CD practices, terraform, Git

Able to work independently in a high-volume, multi-database, multi-tasking environment

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Snowflake Administration

Set up and maintain schemas, access roles, pipelines, and storage

Monitor workloads, manage tuning, and optimize data flow

Support backup and recovery processes and system health monitoring

Experience with

FiveTran ,

HVR , scripting language like python
