About This Role The Account Manager is a strategic partner within a defined territory that works collaboratively with Account Executives and Regional Managers to organize and strategize for territory retention and growth.
You will be responsible for supporting new and existing business, as well as achieving the successful implementation of our curriculum solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, relationship‑oriented, and excited to grow within a high‑performing sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meet and exceed assigned territory goals and performance expectations
Partner closely with Account Executive(s) or Regional Manager(s) to manage renewals, expansion opportunities, and new business generation
Territory organization, planning, and execution
Maintain a clean and accurate CRM (HubSpot), including contacts, deal management, forecasting, and pipeline management
Schedule and coordinate demos, presentations, meetings, and follow‑up activities
Support sales trip planning, conference coordination, and territory logistics
Generate and support new business leads through referrals, cold calling, and email campaigns
Track and report on key performance metrics, including calls, meetings, deals, and pipeline activity
Maintain deep knowledge of assigned territory accounts, products, initiatives, and timelines
Suggest and support strategies to improve territory growth and sales performance
Regular and predictable attendance
Participate in professional development, not less than 12 hours per year
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills—you will spend your day writing and talking
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
Service‑ and relationship‑oriented mindset
Ability to adapt quickly and problem‑solve proactively
Strong ownership mentality
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new tools quickly
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
Education and Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales support, account management, inside sales, or customer service
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with lead generation, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling sales appointments
Experience with HubSpot CRM or Zendesk is preferred but not required
Physical Demands The employee is required to talk, hear, and see. Often, this position requires the employee to stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, ascend, and descend stairs. Also, to reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and manipulate keyboard keys. The employee is also required to lift up to 50 lbs. Travel may be required on company business by car, plane, or other transportation.
