Order Management Specialist

About the Role We are seeking a
highly detail-oriented Order Management Specialist
to support order management operations for a high-volume business handling digital appliance. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with data, enjoys problem-solving, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll manage 100–110 customer accounts, ensuring accurate order entry, timely updates, and strong communication with internal teams. The hiring manager
intends to keep this person long-term .
What You’ll Do Order Management & Processing (SAP / EDI / Manual)
Enter and validate customer orders via SAP (VA01/VA02), EDI, and manual workflows
Update order changes quickly and ensure accuracy across all systems
Support issue resolution and serve as point of contact for Sales, Logistics, Finance
Forecasting & Reporting
Support demand forecasting and forecast accuracy reporting
Perform sales trend analysis and root-cause analysis
Run weekly and monthly reports ( Analyze sell-through and compare forecasts vs. actuals
Contribute to KPI and‑improvement initiatives
Cross-Functional Support
Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance
Manage multiple inboxes and prioritize tasks effectively
Maintain strong customer relationships

Super detail oriented
— accuracy is critical
Highly organized
and follows instructions closely
Intermediate–Advanced Excel skills
(pivot tables, V-lookups, formulas)
Additional Skills
Order management experience (required)
SAP familiarity — especially VA01 & VA02
EDI experience a plus
Strong communication and follow‑up skills
Ability to handle large datasets
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Flexible to work OT when needed
Nice to Have
Excel Macros / VBA
SAP power-user experience
Retail forecasting or demand planning experience
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
(business, supply chain, or related)
With bachelor’s:
3–5 years of experience
Without bachelor’s:
5+ years required
Experience working directly with customers
Strong Excel proficiency
