Responsibilities As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll be the go‑to resource for clients – managing policies, answering questions, and providing proactive guidance that sets our service apart. This is not just a service role – it's a relationship role.
You’ll be expected to:
Manage and retain a book of existing personal lines clients across home, auto, umbrella, and more
Handle renewals, policy changes, billing questions, claims guidance, and documentation
Identify account rounding and up‑sell opportunities that genuinely benefit the client
Quote, present, and bind coverage with clarity and confidence
Communicate regularly with clients to anticipate needs and avoid last‑minute issues
Educate clients on coverage, risk, and options so they feel informed and protected
Document all client activity accurately in AMS360
Navigate carrier portals and tools to deliver fast, accurate solutions
Stay organized and responsive while managing a steady workload
Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent and high‑quality client experience
Go beyond the transaction – take the extra step to understand the full picture and offer meaningful support.
Requirements We're looking for someone who brings both experience and the right mindset. Our ideal candidate is service‑driven, detail‑oriented, and focused on providing real value to clients – not just processing transactions. You should be someone who anticipates client needs, solves problems proactively, and sees every interaction as an opportunity to build trust.
You’ll be a strong fit if you have:
An active Property & Casualty (P&C) license (required)
3+ years of personal lines insurance experience (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of AMS360 (strongly preferred)
Confidence using carrier portals, rating tools, and insurance platforms
A professional, client‑first approach – you're thoughtful, thorough, and responsive
Excellent organization and follow‑through, with attention to accuracy and detail
The ability to manage your workload independently and prioritize effectively
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Familiarity with tools like DocuSign and Singlepoint
A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset – you look for ways to streamline workflows and elevate every client interaction
Comfort with change and technology – you embrace change and leverage technology to deliver smarter, more valuable service
