divh2Community Associate/h2pUnder general supervision, with some latitude for independent initiative, the selected candidate will perform various functions assisting with the coordination of Office of Safety and Security activities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:/polliReview, process, and close out Workplace Violence and NYCHA Safety and Security reports./liliAssist, implement, monitor safety and security initiatives at NYCHA developments./liliConduct unannounced inspections of buildings where there are Security/Firewatch guards./liliMaintain safety and security records, written reports, daily and monthly metrics./liliConduct regular audits of files to ensure compliance with department/agency guidelines and protocols./liliPerform risk assessments at each NYCHA property./liliAttend staff meetings, training sessions and community meetings as required./liliWork with NYCHA Security and NYPD on various safety initiatives./liliPerform daily office operational tasks./li/olpSpecial Conditions: Individual selected for this position will be actively engaged in physical building inspections, as well as performing tasks that require a lot of walking, climbing stairs and standing for long periods of time.
