Job Overview
Our client is one of Northern Indiana’s largest independent, 100% employee-owned electrical distributors, serving OEMs and contractors with premium electrical and automation solutions.
As we enter the next phase of our growth strategy, we’re seeking a Sales Manager who can lead with insight, collaborate across business units, and help scale our sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Oversee inside and outside sales teams, including OEM-focused reps and emerging business units (e.g., robotics, wire spool, servo motors).
Performance Monitoring: Analyze activity and sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; report findings to leadership.
Team Development: Support reps with situational guidance, communication strategies, and customer service best practices.
Cross-Unit Collaboration: Coordinate sales efforts across business units with shared commission structures and aligned goals.
Process Visibility: Maintain a clear understanding of how different sales processes interact and contribute to overall performance.
Technology Integration: Leverage advanced tools including NetSuite CRM, AI-enhanced Outlook integrations, and internal order systems to streamline workflows.
Must Have
A team-oriented leader who values structure and is excited about growth.
Someone who can fit into our evolving system before reshaping it.
Experience in electrical distribution, OEM sales, or technical product lines is a plus.
Strong reporting and communication skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems and modern sales tools.
