Role Overview

The Senior Sales Director will lead a national team of sales professionals focused on the SMB market. This is a high-performance, “hunter” role responsible for driving predictable and profitable sales growth across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute national sales strategies and plans
  • Assign territories and targets; ensure goals are met
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Mentor and motivate a team of 50+ sales professionals
  • Drive new merchant acquisition and add-on revenue
  • Oversee Salesforce usage and ensure data accuracy
  • Deliver management reports including forecasts and productivity metrics
  • Cultivate referral partnerships to generate leads
  • Provide strategic guidance and remove obstacles in high-value deals
  • Offer thought leadership on market and industry trends

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of sales and sales management experience
  • Proven success selling merchant acquiring solutions to SMBs
  • Experience leading large field sales teams
  • Consistent record of exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to travel 50%+ across the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Experience building a high-performance sales culture
