Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Contract)
Pay Rate: $33–35/hour
Duration: 15-month assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support regulatory compliance activities for food, flavor, and ingredient products. This role is responsible for maintaining regulatory documentation, ensuring compliance with FDA and USDA regulations, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain regulatory data and documentation for ingredients and finished products
Review vendor documentation and ensure regulatory accuracy
Prepare and update product specifications, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, and nutrition information
Support GMO, organic, kosher, halal, and country compliance documentation
Communicate regulatory requirements to R&D, Sales, and customers
Assist with audits, certifications, and regulatory inquiries
Support regulatory change management and internal process improvements
Qualifications
3–5 years of regulatory experience in food, beverage, flavor, cosmetic, or oral‑care industries
Working knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations (Canadian or EU experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience preferred
