A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and oversight in a specialized long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting. This position offers the chance to oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance and optimal patient care within a 70-bed facility. The role requires a proactive leader capable of holding the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) designation for the site. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive oversight of pharmacy services and staff. Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to maintain regulatory compliance. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication management and patient safety. Utilize RX Connect for pharmacy IT operations. Ensure adherence to all pharmacy-related policies and procedures. Qualifications: Active California Pharmacist License. Proven experience as a Director of Pharmacy in California healthcare settings. Strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with RX Connect pharmacy software is advantageous. Schedule: Monday through Friday Day shifts Employment Type: Contract position for 13 weeks with potential to convert to a temp-to-hire role. Immediate start available.
