Job Description
Scope of Work
Data Model & Analytics
Build SuiteAnalytics datasets and workbooks to support:
Forecast vs. Actual revenue and margin tracking
Weekly Rep-level performance dashboards
Opportunity → Project → Sales Order → Invoice data flow visibility
Design reusable data structures for analytics — enabling easy pivoting and trend comparisons.
Work with stakeholders to define key metrics and layout for standardized reports.
Custom Fields & Configuration
Add custom fields (e.g., Forecast) at Project and Opportunity level.
Configure field-level rules and validations to enforce consistency (e.g., placeholder FG logic).
Establish clean item subtype usage across opportunities, sales orders, and projects.
Automation & Scripting
Develop SuiteScripts (1.0/2.x) for:
Scheduled exports of analytical datasets (CSV/XLS/API)
Automated flagging of duplicates, missing FG placeholders, or invalid entries
Data validation (e.g., checking that every open opportunity has forecast and FG item)
User Workflow Optimization
Improve experience for PMs and Reps entering forecast or placeholder items.
Ensure field visibility and role access is clean and intuitive.
Qualifications
Strong experience with NetSuite SuiteAnalytics Workbooks and Datasets
Proven background in SuiteScript (1.0 or 2.x) development
Solid understanding of Opportunity, Project (Core), Item, and Sales Order flows
Experience designing custom fields, validation scripts, and user workflows
Ability to translate business requirements into technical implementation
Nice to Have (for future projects):
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau)
Experience integrating NetSuite with Monday.com
Deliverables
SuiteAnalytics datasets/workbooks for project and rep-level reporting
Custom Forecast field + validation logic
Scripts for data cleanup or scheduled exports
Streamlined user workflows with minimal friction for PMs and Reps
Light documentation or handoff notes
Rate: $90-$125 per hour. This is a project based contractor role.
