Tom Wood Toyota is looking for a BDC Agent to join our team onsite in Whitestown, IN. The ideal candidate will bring their excellent phone skills, personable demeanor, hospitable attitude, and will contribute to creating a positive and transparent buying experience for our valued guests.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to inbound leads from phone calls, internet inquiries, emails, texts, and chats
Make outbound calls to follow up with sales leads, unsold prospects, and existing customers
Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team
Gather and accurately document customer information in the CRM
Follow dealership scripts, processes, and lead‑handling standards
Maintain consistent follow‑up with prospects according to BDC guidelines
Coordinate with sales managers and sales consultants to ensure smooth handoffs
Provide customers with basic vehicle information, pricing guidance (as directed), and dealership policies
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals (calls, appointments set/shown, conversion rates)
Ensure a positive, professional, and customer‑focused experience at all times
Required:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Qualifications
Professional with excellent communication and customer service skills with friendly and personable demeanor
Exceptional phone etiquette and active listening abilities
Has strong organizational skills and the ability to multi‑task
Maintains a high level of customer service; always being positive and outgoing
Team‑oriented and flexible; willing to learn
Has strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office
Previous sales experience is a plus
Enthusiastic and motivated team player
Required:
Valid driver's license with clean record
