Howard Memorial Hospital is looking for a Human Resources Director. This is a salaried position, full-time, with benefits. This role will promote and foster positive collaborative relationships and support teamwork and shared success throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
Ensures ongoing recruitment and hiring
Develops and maintains HR policies and procedures
Oversees performance evaluation process
Oversees staff development and training
Administers compensation program
Coordinates a competitive benefit package
Develops and mentors management staff to ensure compliance with EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and other federal regulations
Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field OR minimum of 5 years Human Resources management experience
Effective written and verbal communication
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Previous managerial experience in healthcare setting preferred
