We’re searching for a Copywriter who will be responsible for the conception, design, and execution of innovative visual materials for integrated, cross channel initiatives in healthcare advertising including: large web initiatives, online advertising, and digital marketing. Individuals should possess strong conceptual and design skills and assist the Creative Director in improving the conceptual, technical and creative performance of staff within his or her group.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with creative team members to determine concept, brand and copy directions

Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with brand and style guidelines

Interact with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics

Translate concepts into effective messages, ensuring messages can be supported by the science and data

Collaborate with art partners to simplify complex information in visual ways

Contribute to brainstorming and creative brief development

Work on multiple projects simultaneously and juggle writing demands

Possess strong communication skills with a positive attitude

Can evaluate the work of Copywriters and Associates to ensure that the components of relevance are leveraged appropriately

Ability to leverage the components of relevance in every program that you work on

Check alignment of relevance constantly and report misalignment to your EVP

Understand the goals of every program that you work on and communicate those goals to the team consistently

Understand the needs, motivations, and aspirations relevant to your audiences

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. An advanced degree (PhD, PharmD) preferred.

Minimum of 5-8 years experience in a creative healthcare agency

Brand launch experience preferred

Solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles

Strong experience on large cross-channel and/or direct marketing initiatives across mediums

Experience with online and offline media preferredCandidate must be open to travel as needed

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $103,700.00 – $172,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
