What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Perform equipment inspections and maintenance, including cleaning and checking fluid levels
Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs related to equipment handling
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to work in environments requiring safety precautions
Strong customer service skills and the ability to assist customers effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with moving equipment and related services
Ability to obtain certifications for forklift operation and propane filling through U-Haul
Interest in continuous learning and development within the company
