What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services at the center
Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
Clean and inspect rental equipment, ensuring proper fluid levels
Drive a forklift and fill propane (certification provided upon employment)
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to follow safety precautions while working with equipment and chemicals
Availability for ongoing training and education through U-Haul University
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with rental equipment or transportation services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
