What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers inside and outside the center with U-Haul products and services
Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels as necessary
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to work in environments requiring special safety precautions
Commitment to a nicotine-free workplace as per company policy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with equipment maintenance or logistics operations
Certification in forklift operation or propane filling (training provided)
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
Interest in ongoing education and professional development
