What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assist customers inside and outside a U‑Haul center with products and services

Utilize smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory

Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers, including cleaning and inspecting equipment

Answer customer inquiries and educate them regarding products and services

Prepare rental invoices and manage equipment returns

What is Required (Qualifications)

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to perform moderate physical exertion, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs

Willingness to adhere to safety precautions in a work environment with moderate risks

Must be able to participate in ongoing education through U‑Haul University

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Previous experience in customer service or a related field

Familiarity with equipment inspection and maintenance

Certification in forklift operation (available through U‑Haul upon employment)

Certification in filling propane (available through U‑Haul upon employment)

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
