Title: Marketing Operations 3 – External Producer (Retail Producer)

Overview We are seeking an External Producer (Contract) to lead a large-scale retail transformation initiative across the sport specialty channel, with a focus on soccer in North America. This role will act as the project lead and single point of truth, managing complex, multi-vendor workstreams in support of upcoming World Cup-related initiatives. This is an immediate need with a January 2026 start. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-driven project manager with strong retail and agency experience who thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Job Description
Own the end-to-end project plan for soccer retail transformation and door revamps, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risk mitigation, and status reporting
Serve as project lead and central point of coordination across all internal and external stakeholders
Filter and finalize door counts and door segmentation; translate program strategy into actionable installation packages
Coordinate production vendors to ensure timelines, brand standards, and budget requirements are met
Manage fixture procurement and order management in collaboration with sourcing, procurement, finance, and logistics teams
Track orders, deliveries, and overall project health
Establish and maintain a single source of project truth
Lead project communications and cross-functional checkpoints, dates, and gates
Proactively identify, resolve risks and roadblocks
Measure outcomes and provide regular progress and performance reporting
Required Skills Non‑Negotiables (Top 3)
Strong understanding of retail environments and experience working with agencies
Proven ability to manage complex, nuanced, multi‑vendor workstreams
Multifaceted project management skills with extreme attention to detail
Additional Requirements
5–10+ years of experience producing complex retail or experiential programs, including multi-door rollouts
Demonstrated success delivering on-time, in-full (OTIF) installations across multiple vendors
Experience translating creative concepts into build-ready specifications
Strong vendor management and cross‑functional coordination skills
High level of operational rigor and organizational discipline
Clear, effective communicator with proven matrix leadership experience
Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Airtable, Excel, Box, and Tableau
Nice to Have
Previous Nike experience (helpful but not required)
Soccer knowledge is not required; strong organizational skills are essential
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
