Overview
Twenty-four hour accountability for operational issues related to the delivery of professional and para-professional nursing care provided to the facility's patients. Collaborates with ancillary departments and multidisciplinary team members and interacts closely with other facility staff and Department Heads to ensure that safe, quality patient care is provided, in accordance with corporate, facility and unit standards. Accountable for achieving the department's budgetary goals and for quality outcomes. Participates on committees, task forces as assigned. Formulates reviews and assists in the revision of policies and procedures. Responsibilities

BS in Nursing or health-related field required Master's Degree in Nursing or health-related field preferred Current BLS Certification Current ACLS Certification Current PALS Certification Minimum three (3) years experience in ER setting required Previous management experience at ER manager level required, Experience as ER director preferred CEN preferred Excellent physical assessment and critical-thinking skills Effective oral and written communication skills in English 2+ to 5 years experience Management Experience Required - Yes Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree Willingness to Travel - Occasionally Additional Information
