Electrical Designer and Instrument Technician
Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering, or technical diploma with consolidated experience At least 5 years experience in electrical and instrumental design for industrial plants Experience in special machine design and construction companies is desirable Knowledge of typical process line measurement and control instruments (sensors, transmitters, valves, PLC I/O) Good knowledge of electrical and 3D CAD software (preferably Eplan, Esa Pro, Autocad) and Office Proven experience in the design of complex industrial electrical systems and in defining technical solutions for plant instrumentation and sensors Knowledge of industrial automation, IEC/CEI standards and instrument wiring practices Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, floor plans and mechanical assemblies Willingness to travel occasionally in Italy/abroad Technical English (B1-B2), knowledge of a second language is preferable Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and towards objectives Problem-solving skills, commitment to continuous improvement and meeting deadlines Flexibility and proactivity Functions & responsibilities
• Key role in the technical development of projects and in the integration of measurement and control systems, from the definition of specifications to installation support and testing • Design of instrumentation systems, wiring and sensors for industrial plants • Definition of technical specifications for measurement instruments, actuators and process control systems • Drafting of electrical diagrams, layouts, specifications, bills of materials and technical documentation • Technical interface with suppliers, customers and internal departments (mechanical, automation, purchasing, production) • Collaboration with the automation and mechanical departments for the integration of solutions • Support for testing, commissioning and instrument calibration activities at production sites (Italy/abroad) • Management of technical documentation and monitoring of project progress
