Assistant Superintendent

Full-time We represent multiple leading construction firms seeking

Assistant Superintendents

to assist in planning and executing construction projects while ensuring compliance with

safety, quality, and scheduling procedures . This role may be divided by project area or trade discipline, depending on the project's scope and needs. Key Responsibilities

Construction Oversight & Documentation

Maintain and distribute

construction documents , including plans, specifications, RFIs, bulletins, and field reports. Manage layout, confirm, and verify the accuracy of

field dimensions . Verify subcontractor layout to ensure compliance with established line and grade. Administer the

Quality Management Program , specifically overseeing

First Delivery and Benchmark Inspections , documenting deficiencies, and tracking them to resolution. Continuously monitor job site progress and check all work for compliance with

contract documents . Document daily construction activity

through reports, photographs, sketches, and software tools. Scheduling & Coordination

Assist in creating and distributing

daily and weekly work plans , including schedules and logistics plans. Attend and participate in

weekly and monthly client meetings , providing updates on project status and addressing concerns. Compile and maintain all

permits, testing, and inspection records

required for project completion and acceptance. Safety & Compliance

Support the administration of the

Safety Program , including

pre-construction meetings, pre-task planning, and daily safety monitoring . Communicate clear safety expectations to project teams and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements. Team Leadership & Development

Supervise and mentor

Field Engineers

in their daily work. Foster collaboration among subcontractors, field personnel, and project leadership. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred). 2+ years of experience

in construction-related fields. Self-motivated with

strong organizational skills . Ability to manage multiple tasks with a

strong sense of urgency . Excellent communication and time management skills . Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
