Member Services Representative – Contact Center Engage with members and individuals in a dynamic, high-volume contact center environment. Address inquiries and requests, providing information about products and services with exceptional customer service skills. Utilize multiple systems and active listening techniques to ensure a positive member experience. Handle transactions related to savings, checking, loans, and credit cards, and advise members on suitable products and services.

Responsibilities

Respond to member inquiries and requests in a structured contact center.

Provide detailed information about products and services.

Perform transactions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and IRAs.

Advise members on products and services that meet their needs.

Ensure optimal customer service using active listening and engagement methods.

Essential Skills

Strong customer service skills.

Proficiency in data entry.

Experience with inbound and outbound calls.

Ability to adapt to multiple systems.

Capability to handle high volume calls in a structured environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in call center, administrative, or professional environments.

Background in banking, mortgage, or high-volume retail settings.

Ability to comply with policy and procedures in a structured environment.

Work Environment These are remote opportunities requiring candidates to live within 60 miles of Winchester and Tidewater. The contact center operates 24/7/365, providing flexibility in shift scheduling to support work‑life balance. Shifts are flexible, with scheduled breaks and meals. Be prepared to handle back-to-back calls for extended periods, enhancing your ability to deliver exceptional service.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50‑$19.50/hr.
