Complete Care at Hillside, a proud member of the Complete Care family, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. Our 106-bed, 4-star facility in Wilmington, DE is known for its strong reputation for quality care, teamwork, and resident-centered service — and we’re looking for a leader who can continue to uphold and enhance that standard.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the nursing department to ensure the highest level of care for residents.
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote excellence and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to maintain strong clinical outcomes and survey readiness.
Monitor clinical programs, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in resident care planning and family communication.
Drive a culture of compassion, respect, and accountability.
Qualifications
Current RN license in the state of Delaware (or eligibility for reciprocity).
Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Strong understanding of federal and state regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
