A preeminent $60B AUM fund that fuses data analysis with inventive solutions, is seeking a talented senior Employment Counsel to join its dynamic legal team.
This Counsel will be the #1 employment lawyer, report to the General Counsel and have a direct report. In this role, you will provide crucial legal advice on employment law and HR matters in a fast-paced setting. If you are a pragmatic, intellectually curious attorney, eager to mentor and support executives and HR leaders, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
Advise on a spectrum of employment-related matters, from discrimination and harassment to performance management and recruiting.
Draft and refine employment-related templates, ensuring compliance and clarity.
Partner with HR and business units to build scalable employment practices.
Manage outside counsel for employment disputes and litigation.
Stay ahead of legal developments and implement proactive compliance measures.
Support projects such as reorganizations, compensation initiatives, benefits programs, and cross-functional investigations.
Ideal Candidate Specs J.D. degree with 15+ years of employment law experience. Open to in-house or law firm candidates who can deliver clear, commercially pragmatic advice. Strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are essential.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position ranges from $250,000 to $325,000, complemented by a generous discretionary bonus and a robust benefits package.
