The Sales Trainee is responsible for learning all business functions associated with Butler Machinerys Equipment business and providing sales support to various departments as needed. This position can be physically located out of Minot, ND, Dickinson, ND, or Bismarck, ND./ppResponsibilities:/pulliBecome fluent with all brands, equipment, and services we represent in both our Ag and Construction business/liliLearn and become an expert user of all relevant business systems such as DBS, BMTS, AX and Texada/liliJob shadow various departments and individuals at the stores and the corporate office to familiarize yourself with Butler Machinery business processes, programs, procedures, and culture/liliDevelop relationships with specific customer accounts assigned to you with a planned approach set forth by your manager/liliSupport Ag Product Specialists and Heavy Demo Equipment Operators with machine start-ups or demos throughout the territory/liliComplete all assigned Online Product Training to familiarize yourself with our product offerings/liliAssist with setting up and participating in farm shows, trade shows and other customer outreach events throughout the territory/liliTravel required: Day trips to support neighboring stores, overnights to attend trade shows/training, and job shadows or support at Corporate or other facilities/liliWorks within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC/liliPerforms other duties as assigned/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliA Bachelors degree in Agri-Business or other related major in college or equivalent combination of business experience, training and/or education required/liliBasic knowledge of Ag Equipment, current farming practices, heavy equipment, or current construction/dirt work operations required/liliBasic knowledge of retail finance contracts and leasing/liliProblem solving skills/liliMicrosoft computer skills/liliExcellent motivation, a self-starter with high energy to learn and do more/liliWillingness to relocate as CAM, Product Specialist, Demo Operator, or other associated jobs that may open across the BMC Territory (ND, SD, NE, MT)/li/ulpAs a family business for three generations, we currently employ over 900 associates in 20 locations throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Nebraska.
