Cabinet Maker & Installer – Evolve Transporters
Base pay range:
$26.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Brief Description Evolve Transporters is a high‑end custom fabrication company located in Indianapolis, IN and Cleveland, OH. We design and fabricate race transporters for some of the biggest motorsport teams and brands in the world. Our focus is client satisfaction and continuous innovation.
This position reports to the Cabinet Shop Foreman and is located in Indianapolis, IN.
The role will move from the Guion Road facility to the new Noblesville facility on or about 4/1/26.
What You Can Expect In This Role Our Cabinet Makers work on both the new build and refurbishment processes for client transporters.
You will build, laminate and install cabinets, walls, and other items according to plan drawings and Foreman direction, ensuring the final interior meets client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Read and understand provided plan drawings.
Take accurate measurements and calculate the size and amount of material required.
Maintain a focus on quality fit and finish.
Laminate cabinets and panels and finish filing.
Build and install all cabinetry in new and refurbished transporters.
Accurately log time to the correct project.
Complete other related tasks as assigned.
Perform housekeeping and other shop‑related duties as assigned.
Top Skills
Hands‑on experience with carpentry materials.
Excellent knowledge of cabinetry installation, assembly and finishing procedures.
Proficient in using power tools, manual tools, measuring tools and other equipment (table saws, sanders, tape measure, etc.).
Router experience is a plus, but not required.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
Strong adherence to safety guidelines.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Ability to work under stress and maintain tight deadlines.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in shop settings for prolonged periods.
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work in confined spaces, off ladders and moderate heights.
Preferred Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in woodworking, cabinetry or carpentry.
