Fixed Income Portfolio Administrator

A New York based Asset Manager is seeking a motivated Portfolio Administrator to join their growing firm! The Portfolio Administrator will work closely on various projects and be in direct contact with the team’s Lead Admin. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of previous work experience within the Asset Management field and have a great understanding of Fixed Income and Mutual Funds.
Job Responsibilities:
Resolve and analyze trade and fixed income reports
Run and provide monthly and quarterly client reports to investors and upper management
Reconcile cash and assets including trades, income or corporate action issues with the accounts custodian bank
Determine forecasted results for various analytical endeavors
Job Requirements:
Previous Fixed Income and Mutual Funds Experience is required.
Energetic team player that will make an instant impact
Knowledge of Bloomberg and Federal/State Compliance
Knowledge of derivatives would be a plus
Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and SUMIFS
Very strong interpersonal skills
