Luxfactory is looking for Python/Django experts for long-term collaboration. The selected consultants will participate in development, maintenance, and evolution of applications, supporting both new and ongoing digital projects within the university ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful academic and research projects within a dynamic technical environment. Key Responsibilities

Develop Python/Django applications, APIs, modules, and scripts. Maintain and evolve existing systems and platforms. Contribute to technical design, apply design patterns, and perform unit testing. Ensure integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Provide expert advice on development best practices. Participate in design workshops and technical documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (backend, frontend, DevOps). Requirements

Experience & Skills At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Python and Django. Proven knowledge of design patterns and unit testing strategies. At least 2 years of experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Minimum

5 years of experience in at least 3 of the following: Django REST Framework (API development) PostgreSQL Git One modern JavaScript framework (Angular, Vue.js, or React) Languages

Fluent in French (native or C1 certified) – mandatory for collaboration. Other Qualities

Able to work independently and as part of a team. High level of professionalism, service mindset, and precision. Availability for remote work, with potential on-site presence (Louvain-la-Neuve).
