Overview

Since launching the world’s first portable wood-pellet pizza oven in 2012, Ooni has grown into an award-winning, multinational company with a product range loved by pizza makers all over the globe. Our mission has always been to design innovative products that spark joy in our customers. While we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, we’re only just getting started! A Little About the Role: We’re entering an exciting new chapter in Ooni’s journey and are looking for an Account Manager to join our US Sales team and help drive our omni-channel retail presence. This is a hands-on, early-to-mid career Account Manager role, ideal for someone who wants to deepen their experience managing retailer accounts end-to-end. You’ll own a portfolio of US retail partners, build strong relationships, and help grow the business through excellent execution, commercial insight, and collaboration. You’ll work closely with retail customers and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations—from sell-in preparation and reorders to coordinating samples and supporting trade shows, and feeding insight back into the wider sales strategy. You’ll be supported by senior sales leadership while being trusted with real responsibilities and impact. This role includes travel to visit accounts, attend events, and deliver product demos. If you enjoy variety, working cross-functionally, and building strong customer partnerships, this role is a great fit. While we will consider remote candidates, preference is for candidates based in the Austin, TX area, with an expectation of being in our Austin office 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday). What you’ll do

Proactively lead, manage, and scale a portfolio of high-growth accounts across the US. Establish long-term trust with buyers, store managers, and key stakeholders to ensure lasting partnerships. Collaborate with the US Sales team to hit regional targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy. Lead engaging product demos at trade shows, training events, and account meetings (training will be provided). Partner with Operations and Inside Sales to process orders and manage order-related communications accurately. Work closely with our Operations team to coordinate the delivery of stock to retail partners. Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in our account management processes to improve accuracy. Analyze financial details such as margins, promotions, and basic forecasting to support profitable growth and make recommendations to the VP of Sales. Develop clear data-driven reports and updates on your accounts and portfolio for the VP of Sales and broader leadership. Travel as required to attend events/tradeshows, visit stores, and meet with accounts within your channel. Support our growth. This role will have its hands in a lot of projects to help our team and company succeed. What you’ll need to succeed

Have 2+ years of experience working in sales, wholesale sales, and/or an account management role. Preferably within the outdoor industry, consumer goods, or a retailer environment. Experience as a buyer is a plus. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets across a diverse portfolio of retail or distributor accounts. Data-driven mindset, comfortable using CRM tools, sales reports, and account performance metrics to prioritize opportunities and guide decisions. Strong communicator with the ability to present products, negotiate terms, and handle objections clearly and professionally across in-person, over video, and email interactions. Experience collaborating across functions (Operations, Supply Chain, Retail Marketing, and Inside Sales) to resolve issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment. A solutions-oriented and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities, inventory challenges, or customer needs in a fast-growth environment. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without losing accuracy. Have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a mindset that aligns with our values. Especially Rigour for this job. And even more especially, Passion. They’re all important! Why Ooni
