Technical Product Owner (Director) (Chicago) Job at Qorali in Chicago

Qorali is recruiting a Technical Product Owner, at Director Level, to take ownership of critical platform capabilities within a large-scale, enterprise technology environment. This role sits within Platform Engineering and carries strategic responsibility for key domains including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD platforms, and the overall developer experience.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation and hands-on understanding of modern engineering ecosystems, with proven experience across CI/CD tooling, Kubernetes-based platforms, and contemporary infrastructure practices. You will use this expertise to shape product direction, influence technical decisions, and ensure platform capabilities align with both engineering and business objectives.

Success in this role will depend heavily on your ability to build trusted relationships across the organization. You will work closely with delivery teams, senior technical leaders, and executive stakeholders, requiring excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate effectively at all levels of the business.

Key Experience & Responsibilities:

• Technical Knowledge in CICD, IaC (Terraform), GitOps and Developer Experience
• Product Roadmap Development
• Product Ownership over multiple areas
• Design, Track & Improve Key Metrics
• Managed teams of at least 5 direct reports
• Designing and Implementing Product Strategy
• Key Stakeholder Management

Compensation

• $190-210k base
• 30% bonus
• 25+ days PTO
• 6% match on 401k

This is a hybrid position, based out of Chicago.
