About the Role
- Lead the financial planning processes, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi‑year models.
- Oversee the month‑end and year‑end close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance.
- Produce and present financial reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strengthen and enhance internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
- Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering strategic recommendations that guide decision‑making.
- Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance and accounting team, focused on growth and accountability.
- Support internal and external audit requirements, delivering accurate documentation and analysis.
- Lead or support process improvements, workflow enhancements, and system upgrades.
- Partner with teams across the organization to ensure financial alignment, accuracy, and visibility.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA a plus).
- 7–12+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, reporting, planning, and financial controls.
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and with empathy.
- Leadership style grounded in collaboration, steadiness, and trust.
- Ability to shift comfortably between big‑picture strategy and day‑to‑day execution.
